Update: Found the instructions. I know! I was amazed too! And added a larger picture after the break. One is already disassembled and ready to go.

Both desks are identical and pictured in really small pictures. They are on wheels that lift the desk three inches of the ground.

Guba is upgrading her area to a more scrapbooking friendly arrangement and I, I just like change.

So let us know if you would like to take one or both off our hands. Cost will vary upon how much you have been posting to Herdofcats. One desk will be available pretty much now. The other may take a week or two.

I attended a demo today on the new OS from Microsoft, Windows 7. It was geared towards the IT professional, so a lot of talk about security, profile, management and the like. One of the features that was being demoed was Windows new Search function, which essentially combines the old Run menu command line and the Search feature in the explorer window. Very nice, pretty neat. The presenter showed us how you just type a partial description of the application or file you are looking for, and the popup that overlays the start-menu shows up with a classified list of the results.

Says Microsoft is just a profit whoring behemoth

The next DLC for the original Left 4 Dead will be free on PC but cost 560 Microsoft points on Xbox Live. The new DLC wil be an entirely new chapter called Crash Course which fills space between two previous chapters, No Mercy and Death Toll.

Valve's Chet Faliszek has told Eurogamer that upcoming downloadable Left 4 Dead 1 expansion Crash Course costs money on Xbox Live because Microsoft insisted upon it.

Just getting the idea out there

I'm so prettySo in conversation about the HerdofCats redesign one of the threads that came up was the standardization of user pictures. User pictures is the name Drupal uses for Avatars.

It was suggested that we have everyone use their Xbox Live Avatar. They are easily available from Xbox.com, properly transparent PNG files, and close to the correct size. My demo on the left is half the provided size. They come 150x300 pixels, resized to 75x150 pixels.

I know we have had a lot of fun editting other persons user pictures, and changing your own so I don't really want to take that away. Would standardizing make us look more professional/official or would it steal away our randomness?Old and broken
