Free map pack (Glitch ?) confirmed! Get it before they fix it!!!
- Apparently it's a glitch that happened as a result of people not being able to download the first map pack at all. Guess they opened the floodgates!
Here's how to get it free:
- Redeem "Specializations" code sent by Live message recently in the email you have associated with Live the email will look something like the image I have attached. For me it was sent on Nov 30th in case that helps. The subject read: "Here is your gift from Xbox LIVE" (less the quotes, in case you didn't know)
- Start Halo 4 - (doesn't work from website or dashboard)
- Click on MarketPlace
- Select Crimson Map Pack from Marketplace screen
- Download maps for 0 msp
- ???
- Profit! and enjoy
I redeemed my code when I got it on November 30th but this still worked for me.
The Crimson Map Pack is normally 800 msp.
