Okay, here's the deal. Gamercards with online status work, but there's a hitch. You have to signup on MyGamerCard.net and enable the status feature yourself. It takes up to an hour to start showing on your card, but hey, it's free.

I tested MoriceRevek and Stormblade29 with the same gamercard as I have.
Your online info is not updating.
Make sure your account is verified (two places! if you have your live account tied in: through the email and through private message at the official Xbox forums).
Make sure you checked of your gamercard account preferences.
It worked for me right off but Coxxorz had to check them off several times before it took.
Can you switch me to the flash one?

is that I get to see when and how often Revek is playing Guitar Hero II.
This facilitates the timing of the mocking that I direct his way.
Then we could get at the direct feed from Xbox Live, and have a derisive, taunting email (or website post) automatically generated every time he plays it.
I even have a Yankee flag!! Yeehaw!

But still not showing online status. Go into your "My MGC" page and make sure that "Online status" is enabled. But not your country flag.
but I guess that card doesn't support it. Fine by me, I still like that card better. :)
It WILL automatically update.
There are lots of other Gamercard styles available, so feel free to let us know which one you like. Not all styles show online status, though.
