As some of you know (I know, I have been reading Aku too much), I am in the midst of changing jobs. And for this job, I had to interview a candidate developer who would be reporting to me. As the interview went on, the dialogue shifted towards designing interfaces. He indicated to me that he has experience and enjoys doing GUI design. Not an expert by any means, but stronger than the average programmer. He also mentioned that when he had to do something with photo shop that was beyond his abilities, he would call on his friend at the [Ottawa Newspaper] who works in the marketing department.

"Really?" I said. "You know people there? Do you know [Coxxorz]?".

"Why yes I do. As well as [Karloff], who likes to do a Sean Connery impression."

"What a small world. You must have heard them talk about Herd Of Cats then."

"I think so. I knew them especially when they called themselves the Golden Girls."

"That is so amusing. Wait. What?"

"Yes, they named themselves after characters from the Golden Girls."

"That is so going on the site."
