The story of one man's Xbox 360 - Day 5 continued

By One Mans Xbox 360 - Posted on 08 May 2009

I'm back baby!

I broke on Friday, I returned on Friday.

One week total down time. 5 business days. That's pretty fast. Much better than my last breakdown – one month (four weeks and 3 days). Seems that Microsoft is a little more organized now. Almost like they are expecting Xbox 360s to break. Almost.

It's been one week since you looked at me
Cocked your head to the side and said I'm angry.
Seven days since you laughed at me
Saying get that together come back and see me.
Seven days since the living room
I realized its all my fault, but couldn't tell you

Of course, now it's important that I am properly tested and broken in. I wonder what the best way to do that could be?

Step 1: MS called and coffin is on its way.
Step 1(a): Coffin here. Packed and waiting for Purolator.
Step 2: In Transit to Microsoft (North York)
Step 2(a): Still in Transit but closer to Microsoft (North York)
Step 3: Console received at Microsoft (North York)
Step 4: Console repair in progress
    Step 5: Console repaired!
Step 6: Console packed and shipping back to Ottawa
    Step 7: All done
