Seeing as how no one is playing any of our regular shooters anymore.
And I am never around when you guys play COD4. Since I am still at level 12 or something like that, I always seem to be the red shirt when I join games with crackly voiced prepubescent teens that seem to always be around talking tough because they are somewhere else in the world.
Anyway...
Well I have been a fan of the UT series for quite some time.
And the game is more or less the same as it's predecessors.
Graphics are a little better, though I will admit I find it kind of interesting that most of the characters seem to resemble the characters from Gears Of War.
That being said it is a nutty fast pace ridiculous shooter.

Loved the original, when the characters didn't look like they were wearing giant space suits. I even didn't hate the Xbox one where you had to go exploring caves in campaign mode. But they lost me when they added crappy vehicles to multiplayer, and the constant need to capture strategic nodes/generators/wtf using specific weapons and all that bullshit. Of course, the giant technicolor mushrooms didn't help.
...I haven't played the last iteration of it.
When I get to the vehicle stuff I will see how it goes.
