I mean, why Sonic (or sega)?

If nobody wants to do it I could probably fix something up in Photoshop, but I am no graphic designer. And no, I wouldn't put any Nintendo stuff in it, it has to be an original Herd theme.

The reason for Sega and Sonic, is that the guys who started this trend are old fossils, and started gaming together back when the Sega was popular. At that time, I think you were still counting or eating your toes.

We could start a contest amongst the members, best new logo gets used for Game Night. Or better yet, get the kids of members to come up with a design.

I still have my 1977 set-top box that played 'soccer' and 'tennis' (both of which evolved into versions of Pong). All in glorious black and white.

Pong (and Super Pong) came out in 1975 (and 76, respectively). The Telstar wasn't until 1976 (I have both systems). But both were predated by the Magnavox Odyssey, which debuted in 1972 (Magnavox later successfully sued Atari).

While I did have the Coleco at some point, When you mentioned the name Odyssey I went to look it up. This was the first one I had, the Odyssey 200 so I guess it was 75 or 76. This was the white monstrosity I was talking about.
