I think he likes Red Faction: Guerilla

Three Separate entries:

  1. Red Faction: Guerilla (360) #2
My two favorite games of the HD generation of consoles (excluding Rock Band) are Crackdown and Dead Rising. Both games had flaws, but they were incredibly fun to play ... Unless Red Faction absolutely collapses at the end, which I don't expect, it will join Crackdown and Dead Rising. It's that good.

No I am not joking. Seriously, watch it. You will laugh.

Thanks Mikey!

It's a stab proof knife!

By Blackwalt - Posted on 18 June 2009

if you can't stab someone with it, what's the point (see what I did there)

Okay, I get it. It's safer. But I still have issues.

Significantly reduce incidences of serious knife injuries, whether accidental or intentional. (This relates to impulse attacks and not necessarily premeditated knife attacks. Knife crime is a very complex issue and therefore no single idea or product can claim to cure it)

Please note "not necessarily premeditated knife attacks."

This means it won't make anything safer in my kitchen cause let's face it, we all know it isn't going to be an accident.

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means!

No, not time to take out the garbage. Especially for those of you who spent the whole weekend (and longer) racking up brownie points with your lady-friend/significant other.

No, put down that whip because it's GAMING TIME! Read more

A really inconvenient truth

This was a rush job to catch the current topic.

Why didn't anyone tell me about this?

Seriously! A new Tomb Raider movie and you keep it to yourself? Greedy bastards

Yes, it is a new Tomb Raider movie. But then things get weird.

It's a fan film made with a £10,000 budget.

Okay. That's not as bad as it sounds.

Angelina Jolie is not in it.

Okay. That IS as bad as it sounds.

September 12th 2008! This is the date that Tomb Raider Chronicles first announced it as being available online. This means you have managed to keep this from me for ten months. I already hate all of you, this just adds more fuel to the fire.

Stephen Reynolds has sent word that Tomb Raider Ascension, a 'fan produced' motion picture based on the woes of Lara Croft, is now available to watch on the film's official web site. Don't let the 'fan film' moniker fool you either, Tomb Raider Ascension is a finely crafted adventure with stunning cinematography accompanied by more than respectable performances from the cast.

Xbox Live Status: up or down?

By Blackwalt - Posted on 16 June 2009

Can be decided at the press of this button

I really hope that the MS Techs don't play Call of Duty because if they are I can see the future: "Hey we're losing! Quick hit the switch so it does't effect my stats! Woo-hoo, that'll teach those cheaters!"

And one further very important note! Under no circumstances is Coxxorz allowed within 50 feet of this button. You know he'll push it, I know he'll push it, heck, even he knows he'll push it. Just because it's there.

F'ing Bill Harris finally posted his full thoughts on Red Faction: Guerilla

And it's not just that the game will let you do anything. In addition to that freedom, excellent design touches are everywhere. One example is that the vehicles available for your use at safehouses change, so instead of getting comfortable with one vehicle and using it every time, you're encouraged to drive all the vehicles, and given how differently they handle (and how differently they're sized), it adds another dimension to the experience.
    ...
    Did I mention the jetpack?

That's right. Sledgehammer. Rocket launcher. Jetpack. Seriously, there's lots more, but what the hell else do you need?

Well, it's technically a fashion accessory

I'd rather live thanks

My first thought on seeing this was that Guba could have a Tactical Vest to match mine.

I then realized that the only attachment she would need was a bag to carry my ashes in. Once she was done cremating me with her eyes.

Still I post this in case one of you might be looking for the perfect gift for your significant other. Sorry Moricerevek, they don't seem to come in your size. Swag might be okay though.

Grumpy old Zombie?

By Blackwalt - Posted on 15 June 2009

Where oh where is Grumpy Old A Troll?

It seems that at far as Herd of Cats is concerned A Troll has dropped of the Xbox Live map. Why? We are on, he is on, but it has been months since A Troll has joined one of our parties or one of our games.

It took substantial investigation to get to the core of this issue.

Realizing that A Troll hasn't played with us since HoC began their fascination with Zombies, specifically Nazi Zombies and the extermination of said Nazi Zombies the crack investigative HoC team got kicked out the door to investigate further. "Go out already you damn cat!" Is there a connection?
