I make it very clear that I hate the business practices of both Micro$oft and Crapple.
Everyone has to admit what Micro$oft did in its hay day was nothing compared to what Crapple is doing now.
Anyway, when a story like this: http://www.idownloadblog.com/2013/01/05/only-steals-apple-products/ hits the interwebs it just makes me laugh.

why were there ipads in that place to begin with?
I can understand your aversion to Crapple, but what business practices of Microsoft do you not like exactly?
The iCrap devices were probably there for a couple of reasons.
1) QA of their Apps (Smartglass, skydrive etc) iCrap platforms
2) R&D - companies always "learn" from each other just be careful because these days especially if you try to make a shape Crapple will come after you.
See if you worked in IT you would know this
As for M$ back in it's hay day (95-2003ish) they had a lot of anti-competitive practices (probably still do).
