Local Herd members may be interested to know that the Rogers Video store at Merivale & Meadowlands is closing.
I know this news may be hard to take, as at least one of the clan whom I told today has even heard of this location. Anyway, the point is there are many deals to be had, even though the "sale" officially started yesterday. Some of the deals include:
- Used video games 2 for $25
- New video games 50% off
- Used movies buy 1 get 2 free
- New movies 50% off
- Candy/chocolate buy 1 get 2 free
Points and subscription cards were also on sale, but are LONG gone. Gaming accessories may be on sale too, but couldn't confirm that.
There are TONS of movies, possibly even some shipped from other locations. Games and DVD's previously for rent are also on sale, so don't forget to check the rental shelves.
This store officially closes June 22.

I don't understand. Don't people like paying 10$ to rent a 20$ video?
This place it too far for swaggy though (to be practical anyway).
There's plenty other locations willing to take $10 for a two night rental.
