According to this story on CNN, a man sold on ebay an old copy of Air Raid for the Atari gaming console for $31,600. This game is recognised as being a pretty bad game, and yet it sold at auction for over $30,000. Now everybody on this site knows that I have quite an extensive collection of games. Most of them of questionable quality (Battlefield 3000 A.D., Daikatana). Perhaps in another 20 years, they will be able to fetch $30K each as well! And you all mocked me! Now you shall all bow before me! BOoowaaahahahahahah!

That game is notorious for frequently being regarded as one of the worst video games of all time. There is also the urban myth that several hundred copies of the game were dumped into a landfill because the game was that bad.
