Who needs March Break?

Who says March Break is for the kids! With Xbox 360's dropping to $129 CDN everywhere it's time to pick up an Xbox 360 Console (or second, or third or fourth – you know who you are) and catch up with your gaming.

This is the Arcade edition with the RROD proof motherboard (theoretically), the silent DVD drive, 256 MB internal memort and a wireless Xbox controller. Keep in mind these use less power so the power bricks are NOT compatible with your previous Xbox 360 Consoles.

Need a spare? Need a better primary console? Need a media centre? Need a cheap doorstop? What else are you going to spend $129 on?

Keep in mind that other retailers who didn't break the top five are also pricing the Arcade at $129, so shop anywhere, shop often...

...You aren't likely to find anyone selling the Arcade console at full price. The reason why everybody is selling it at "$129" this week... it's a promo probably initiated by Microsoft. Smart move. I'm sure a lot of kids getting out for March break that don't already own a console can afford one. What kid wouldn't be interested in playing video games all week?

Why do I think it's Microsoft behind the price drop? I just got this ad from XBOX Canada.

Oh yeah... 400 Microsoft Points if I decide to buy a console. Yet another incentive.!

Why are you guys posting adds for a system which you all already have?

Strange.

Why do you keep buying games from a company with no multiplayer servers?

Optimism.

"Maybe this one will be better."

I want to be cool like you guys.

Ironically the best deal would be from a store that still sells the console at full price, and has a 110% price match guarantee.

COXXORZ HOT DEAL OF THE DAY

Steam is selling Plants vs. Zombies (Mac or PC, no QBert version) for just $2 until Monday only.
