Half-pint: One last Hockey Night in Canada

I think he enjoyed it even though he is a Sens fan

So Half-pint and I have watched many Hockey Night in Canada games over the years. I expect he doesn't appreciate the hockey as much as Don Cherry, but he still likes to watch. I am used to him jumping up onto the couch during the game and crawling onto me and making himself comfortable.

Usually he lies on his back with his head in the crook of my arm and stretching his body across mine all the way down to my knees. He likes to leave his stomach fully exposed so that I can scratch it properly as he sleeps.

This past Saturday I had to go and collect him. I carried him downstairs and put him on my lap where he promptly curled into a ball and went to sleep.

Having him lying there purring meant a lot more to me that the Leafs beating Detroit. A lot more.

Although Half-pint is still mad that I wouldn't switch over to the Senators game...
