Heroes: I Really Wish I Could Care

By Q-Bert - Posted on 12 February 2009

... or whatever they called the episode this week.

As you noticed, I am not doing episodes reviews of Heroes this season; frankly I can't get into a "caring" mood. I can only bitch about the writing when I think they could have done better.

I this point, I think*I* could have done better.

There is no suspense anymore; there is no mystery this season. They have just taken the easy road and have done 2 episodes of "Us vs Them".

That's crap.

If they don't start some kind of plot point next episode, I will just fugetaboutit.

I thought the first episode after the break was kind of interesting to watch ("What happened last time? I thought so-and-so lost their powers", etc.), but this episode was a bit of a letdown. Although I was intrigued by the possibility of a Sylar sidekick ("I let you live... that's kind of a big deal for me."), it doesn't make sense for his character to have one. We'll see how that goes.

The whole thing about the heroes hanging out at the crash site (ultimately leading to someone's demise) was incredibly clumsy.

Overall I'm growing weary of the whole good/bad role reversal they've been milking. I agree that if they don't go somewhere with it soon, they'll lose more viewers. Which is too bad, as this is one of the few shows Mrs. Coxxorz watches that I can stomach.
