More on Metal Gear Survive

The single player looks more interesting to me than the co-op survival mode

I have played the Metal Gear Survive and, while not completely enamored, I am plan on playing it some more. Being unfamiliar with the Metal Gear gaming interface hurt a lot.

Random notes about Metal Gear Survive after the break...

    Things:
  • Looks to play similar to How to Survive which I consider a good thing. Your mileage may vary.
  • This is not being priced as a full game. $54.99 for Canada, $39.99 USD.
  • Four player co-op survival mode
  • Always on internet - the co-op and single player resources and XP are tied together.
  • Gamespot has an impressions article up: Metal Gear Survive Story Mode Impressions - No Snakes In Sight.
For as much as we're not yet convinced of the long term appeal of Metal Gear Survive, we have to give what we've seen so far credit for going all in on its demanding survival-centric gameplay.
  • Release date is February 20th, 2018.

So I am still not committed yet but it is on my radar now.
