Graybush and Blackwalt return to Call of Duty Ghosts: Extinction

We didn't remember how to play.

Thursday night Graybush kept me up late playing Ghosts while I simultaneously watched the World Junior Hockey Gold Medal game. Now I can usually pull myself away from gaming or from watching hockey to go to bed on time but it appears I can not pull myself away from both at the same time.

We had a moment during a failed, glitched challenge that was, well, close...

We had 4 of 5 of the marked aliens and could not find the fifth. To make the challenge we couldn't kill any other aliens until we killed the fifth. Graybush went to find the fifth alien while I stayed with the drill until the bitter end. Which was as close to the bitter end as you could get without failing.

"Drill health is low!" Well no kidding.

The fifth marked alien, a gargoyle, was embedded inside a wall. By the time Graybush communicated this to me and we accepted our failed challenge the drill was in a bad way. By the time I cleared all the aliens off the drill its health was at 0% (video at 17 seconds) Something we hadn't known was even possible.

"That was close..."

For reference, we did complete the mission successfully
