On the other hand, instead of jumping in full price you could wait until the price drops to a reasonable amount. Like Rainbow Six Siege. Coxxorz and I waited until it dropped to $29.99 which coincidentally was close to six months.
Considering the sheer amount of internal microtransations built in to Rainbow Six Siege I was happy I didn't buy it at full price. I would have been more pissed of than I am.

Just played the Doom demo...
Makes me almost want to buy it...

I wasn't suggesting running out and purchasing it at full price. I was just surprised that no one was even talking about it. As for R6: Siege, wouldn't have paid full price for it either, but since both Prof3ssorM and I get the game with one purchase, it was kind of half price anyway.
