Games with Gold Aug. 1-15: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (Xbox One) is now free for Xbox Live Gold Members

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was the the stand-alone prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I don't believe it was a full game. It was more of a large demo. It generally reviewed well and looks like a good grab for the price. Free!

It is described as an action-adventure stealth game and it's primary purpose was to show off the new (at the time) Kojima Productions' FOX Engine.

The Xbox One version is scoring 72.50% at Game Rankings, a full 8% less than the Xbox 360 version. Weird.

NOTE: I am not a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series but it seems that Microsoft is putting more effort into their Games With Gold program and I have to support the effort.

NOTE, NOTE: The Xbox 360 Game With Gold is Metro 2033 which we have always liked.
