OH BLOODY HELL!!
After many, many weeks away from the Xbox 360, I returned and logged-in to be greeted by a system update message. You know what I'm talking about... "after update your console may restart" blah blah blah. Yeah... you guessed it. The update applied... the console rebooted... no video... and the $%^&#!! red ring of death!!
A quick visit to the Xbox support site indicated a hardware fault. Well... the thing was working prior to the software update... shouldn't that suggest a software fault??
Oh well... looks like a repair call is order. Good thing the warranty was extended. MS did something right. Just out of curiosity... how many 360s have been sent in by HoC members anyway?

Pay no attention to the title. Or the third paragraph. Cause there's no way this type of thing could happen twice.
Cheap, crap, faulty hardware. Seriously, get a japanese company to make it.

No disrespect for Italian cars (of which I am actually a big fan). I was just making the point that the real reason he derides next-gen gaming systems is that he actually can't afford one.
