- Eventually I will stop writing about Zombie Army Trilogy. Today is not that day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.
I was checking out the Zombie Army Trilogy Official Site today (as I am wont to do) when I discovered that pre-orders for console versions was active!
All right! Let's go... except I live in Canada. Wait. Pre-orders are not supported in Canada. Or in the USA. Or technically, Mexico, so it is a clean sweep for North America. No pre-order for you!
If you live in Australia, Benelux, France, Germany, Spain, or the UK feel free to pre-order your console version of Zombie Army Trilogy. I had to look up Benelux. It is a union of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Thanks Google.
The rest of us however? No Zombie Army Trilogy pre-order for you! I guess if you are going to ignore a market for your game that North America is a fairly small one...
I have to hope that it will become available for North America soon. Or, at least, for Canada which is all I really care about. Sorry A Troll.
I do understand that Rebellion is a UK company so it makes sense that European countries (and Australia) would be supported first but a small note saying other counties will be available soon would have been appreciated. Of course, if Rebellion sends Herd of Cats the review copy we requested all of this will be moot.
On another note it appears that Zombie Army Trilogy is available as physical media. Amazon UK offers gift wrap and shipping options. Zombie Army Trilogy also appears to sell for less than the average UK price so hopefully it will be priced in the range $49-$59 instead of the usual $69.

And the bottom question on their FAQ reads as follows:
WHY CAN’T I PRE-ORDER ZOMBIE ARMY TRILOGY IN NORTH AMERICA?
You can pre-order on PC but for reasons beyond our control we aren’t doing console pre-orders digitally.
Things are still being sorted out in North America for retail boxed copies, so as soon as we have any info on that we’ll let you know.
I don't intend to buy the boxed version of this so I hope it's just the pre-order that isn't available digitally.

Am trying to get them to tell me if it will be available for our scheduled LAN. Not that you would know anything about that because it is secret.

Between pre-ordering and buying on day one. They are both available at the same time. Both (based on recent releases) are beta testing.
And I will be buying Zombie Army Trilogy regardless so...
