Finally Kinect May Be Useful
As lot of you know, I make costumes. The hardest part of the process is creating templates for the costumes for the people I make them for. Usually I make a duct tape dummy of the person and build on top of that. This however may make life a lot easier.

I understand the scanning part, but how do you turn that into a physical costume? I can't imagine body-sized 3D printers are affordable yet.
Although when they are, say goodbye to that hobby...
Look up Pepakura
Basically an advanced Form of origami
You can use a 3D model from a game then impose it on the model of your body.
I rarely use it as I do everything free hand for the most part.
But if this works.....
Oh and just an fyi
I plugged HoC during an interview at Awesome Adventure Academy.
So, if there is less traffic, you now know why :)
