I know it definitely tainted Rainbow Six Vegas 2 as far as I was concerned.

With the statement that it tainted Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Rainbow Six Vegas 1 tainted RSV2 frankly. That and the fact that the game seemed to have missed the step called QA. Pill of trash is what RSV2 was.
I also wouldn't say that CoD4 ruined NEW FPSs, because frankly new Good FPSs should ... well ... be better then the older FPSs in the first place. If companies can't suck it up and soldier harder to make a better FPS then CoD4 then they should just quit the business. For once a company makes a superb game and all the rest of the companies just sit their crying up rivers. A bunch of lazy cry babies. Makes me sick. Frankly, this is what happens when you get lazy ass monolithic shitty companies like EA controlling the game industry.
Their writing leaves a lot to be desired, but I like their fanboy-flaming parodies.
