Q-Bert has been asking about Xbox 360. Here is a quick list of the various Xbox 360 SKUs.

The major primary differences (ignoring colour) are HD size and HDMI ports.

Xbox 360 core:

  • Chrome DVD drive cover
  • 20 GB HD
  • HDMI output on newest revision - not yet available in all markets - is listed on outside of box.

  • Can be found bundled with games

    Xbox 360 Elite:

  • All black chassis
  • chrome DVD drive cover
  • 120 GB HD
  • black wireless controller
  • component AV cable
  • HDMI output
  • HDMI AV cable
  • breakout cable for audio (if HDMI device doesn't support audio throughput)
  • wired black headset
  • black ethernet cable
  • No bundles available

    Xbox 360 Halo 3 Edition:

  • Not available until late September
  • $450
  • All Halo 3 themed green and orange chassis
  • orange DVD drive cover
  • 20 GB HD
  • Halo 3 themed wireless controller

  • It kind of is a bundle but no games included

    Alrighty, let's start with the Elite. There is indeed a bundle, available from Dell: Console plus Halo 3 (available Sept. 25) for $499 (same price as most places without Halo)
